This dish is incredibly easy to make and tastes delicious. This recipe will cost a fraction of the price you would pay for a ‘takeaway’.
- Put the rice on to cook.
- Heat the oil in the frying pan. Add the chicken breasts. Season well with salt and pepper. Cook on a high heat for 2 minutes each side. Turn down and cook on a low heat, with the lid on, for a further 4 minutes each side. Remove from the heat and set to one side.
- In a saucepan, mix together the sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Once combined, gently bring to the boil. It should thicken. Add the slices of lemon and gently heat for 1 minute.
- Slice the chicken breasts and serve with the sauce and spring onions.
