Crispy Fried Shredded Beef – Air Fryer Recipe

method

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef with the beaten egg.
  2. In a separate bowl, add the cornflour, season well with salt and pepper, and mix. Add the beef to the cornflour mixture to coat.
  3. Air fry the beef at 200°C for 8 minutes, or until browned.
  4. Meanwhile, to make the sauce, remove the crisper tray from the second basket. Add the garlic, ginger and red pepper to the basket and air fry at 200°C for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the rest of the sauce ingredients and air fry for another 5 minutes to heat through.
  6. Place the noodles in a mixing bowl, cover with boiling water and leave to soak for 5 minutes.
  7. Drain.
  8. Add the cooked beef to the sauce and stir to combine.
  9. Serve with the noodles, chopped oions, and the optional sesame seeds.

Single basket?
Make the sauce first (steps 4 and 5) and set to one side. Replace the crisper tray and cook the beef (steps 1, 2 and 3).

2 cloves garlic, finely grated
1 tablespoon freshly

1 red pepper, sliced
4 tablespoons sweet
chilli sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
300g straight-to-wok noodles
1 spring onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
