All Butter Shortbread – Air Fryer Recipe

method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the softened butter and caster sugar until smooth.
  2. Mix in the flour until fully combined.
  3. Bring the mixture together with your hands and press it down into a shallow baking tin.
  4. Using a fork, gently make indentations in the shortbread.
  5. Air fry at 160°C for 15 minutes or until very lightly browned.
  6. Sprinkle with granulated sugar as soon as you take it out of the air fryer. Score lines in the soft shortbread.
  7. Leave to cool completely before removing from the tray.

30g caster sugar
1/2 mug (90g) plain flour
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
